(Hint... it's not me.) Back in 2022, after performing my solo show in Scottsdale, I was approached by a woman who wanted to show me her 'book.' Apparently, it couldn't be purchased on Amazon or at a local outlet. Not one to shy away from odd requests, I agreed to see the book, although it didn't happen until a few weeks later on Zoom. The 'book' was a series of letters she had created to present as a gift to her mom for her birthday. I fell in love with them, and agreed to turn them into a play. Well... the play is now complete and it's getting it's first reading back in the town where it all started! By the way, Maxine - my co-writer - is 79. Which proves you're never too young to start something new.
